Tech Insurance Leaders Join Coalition

Shawn Ram joins as Head of Insurance and Catherine Lyle joins as Claims Lead.

Prior to joining Coalition, Ram led the Technology Industry Practices at Aon Risk Solutions and at Crystal & Company. Lyle joins from Swiss Re Corporate Solutions where she led cyber claims.

Ram is a technology and cyber insurance leader. At Aon Risk Solutions and later at Crystal & Company, he was responsible for the growth, brokerage, product development, and service of technology customers. Ram has managed client relationships of Fortune 100 and middle market clients for more than a decade. He is recognized as an industry thought leader on topics such as cyber liability, patent infringement, and other technology risks and was named one of Business Insurance’s 2013 40 under 40 Broker Leaders.

Lyle has extensive experience in helping companies respond to breaches, and resulting litigation and class actions. In addition to leading cyber claims for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, Lyle also created and led Swiss Re's Cyber Expert Claims Network which is a global team experienced in cyber insurance and technology, media, and telecommunications insurance in markets most significant to Swiss Re and its clients. She is a frequent speaker and author regarding cyber law and claims. Her prior roles include Adjunct Instructor at the University of Colorado Boulder, attorney for General Electric, and Assistant Attorney General for The Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Lyle is a member of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Colorado Bar Associations.
